The evolutionary path: ICS to IMX
The IMX has evolved from the NEAX 7400 ICS to deliver the latest innovations in PABX design, system support and integration. The NEAX 7400 platform has been enhanced so it will quickly adapt to changes in the business environment.
With the IMX’s open architecture smooth integration with emerging technologies is easily achieved minimising any risk of obsolescence.
New innovations for the IMX include:
• Industry standard 10 base-T Ethernet for inter-rack and CPU connectivity and signaling.
• Multilevel technology integration links to other NEC and third party systems.
• Advanced ‘FCCS’ (Fusion Call Control Signaling), which provides full integration to networked nodes and creates a single database for an entire NEAX 7400 IMX network.
IMX into the future
With the ability to adapt for both short-term configurations and long-term corporate expansions, the IMX is designed for whatever direction your future takes.
Significant improvements in cost reduction and network management can be achieved if both voice and data are integrated across a single network backbone.
Following the early introduction of NEAX based private ISDN networks, NEC migrated this integration strategy to ATM and Frame Relay installations. Now the IMX makes Voice over IP (VoIP) possible.
Using least cost routing, the IMX allows selected voice traffic to be sent via the most economic path, including ethernet environments and ISP gateways.
We service and sell any NEC key and PABX system, such as IPK, ICS 120 , ICS 140, ICS 260, IVS, IPS, IMX.We also sell spare parts such as digital and analog extension cards, ISDN, API, AD8, Line Cards and heaps more. |
